ABOUT

Bad Advice are a melodic punk rock band known for their catchy, energetic songs, pulling influences from classic American pop-punk bands like Green Day, NOFX, Blink-182 or Sum 41. Through their live shows in Germany as well as in the U.S. and the constant release of new high quality music, the band quickly won the hearts of punk rock fans around the globe.

Bad Advice was founded by Dresden (GER) based singer, guitarist and songwriter Sebastian Wende, who is the only constant member of the band, playing with changing drummers and bass players from Germany or the US. The band originally started in Germany, but growing up with American punk rock, Sebastian always dreamed of bringing his music to the USA. So when American drummer Gizz Lazlo (U.K. Subs, The Freeze, Dr. Know) became interested in playing for Bad Advice, which gave Sebastian the opportunity to fulfill his dream, he didn’t think twice and took the next flight to Los Angeles to head out for the bands first short North American tour.

Bad Advice have played Germany and the US multiple times with changing lineups including members of Ten Foot Pole, Implants and Jughead’s Revenge, shared the stage with bands like Total Chaos, Angry Samoans or Suicidal Tendencies founder Louichi Mayorga and played shows in major hotspots of the US like Hollywood, Las Vegas or San Diego. In 2022 Bad Advice released their debut album “How to Have Fun”, which lead to airplay by L.A.`s legendary punk rock radio DJ Rodney On The Rock. Since then, the band constantly put out new singles and will be back with a brand-new full length album in 2024.
